Run For ReACT

Run season is every season!

Although ReACT has a strong history of riding in cycling events, for the first time ever we will take part in a run/walk event this autumn. Would you consider going us and raising funds for the kids of Kenya?

EVENT: Hamilton Marathon, Road2Hope www.hamiltonmarathon.ca

Each runner is asked to run with the goal of raising funds on behalf of ReACT Kenya & the kids of Kenya.

Sign up HERE. Below are some tips to consider when signing up…

  • Before signing up, you will need to create a user name and password with Race Roster, a platform that hosts all fundraising for this event.

  • ReACT is participating only in the Saturday events (1km, 5km & 10km events)

  • Event fees are NOT be receiptable

  • On the sign up form, you will be asked “Are you running for a charity” and when you click YES, look for our team as “ReACT Kenya”

  • When asked “Add registrant to a team?”, click yes and look for “Chain ReACTion Runners”

  • You will be prompted on this form to make a donation but we anticipate that most donations will be made closer to the event date. Once you are registered, Race Roster will create a fundraising page for you individually that is linked to our race team “Chain ReACTion Riders”. This is the page that you will use to send out to your friends, coworkers and family in an effort to raise funds for the ReACT. Note that all donors will have the option of paying for the processing fee that Race Roster requires and that only the amount donated after this fee will be receipted by Assist Projects in February 2026.
