Mission

“To rescue and ensure the well-being of OVC’s
(orphans and vulnerable children) by establishing
simple, cost-effective and culturally relevant
environments for their care.”

ReACT’s vision is to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable children in Kenya. We are not
looking to establish “our own projects” but rather to identify and come alongside local, grassroots initiatives. Since much of what we do has been birthed at a grassroots level, the simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and cultural relevance is maximized.

Our objective is to rescue and defend the interests of OVCs [orphans and vulnerable children] by providing both home based care and access to education.

Our Mission has two expressions that are further explained in our Projects page:
A) Organic Homes
-Monthly sponsorship
-Microfinancing
B) Special Needs Child Sponsorship
-Annual sponsorship of a special needs child within a local, recognised boarding
school.
